Background

The main responsibilities for this job include but are not limited to:

 

1. Project Management
  • Create/Track timelines
  • Manage/Track timesheets
  • Manage files
  • Track freelance hours
  • Coordinate/Onboard freelancers
  • Coordinate print/production
  • Quotes
  • Specs
2. Account Service
  • Draft proposals/estimates/sow/msa/etc.
  • Create capabilities decks
  • Create presentation decks and present to clients when needed
  • Coordinate files w/ clients (old projects and new)
  •  Help maintain good client relationships — track contact
  • Assist when scramble is necessary
  • Assist with new business efforts
  • Track contacts
  • Look possible targets
  •  Track account profitability
3. Office Management
  • Assist with general day-to-day needs
  • Track & organize job applicants
  • Web/IT
  • Monitor websites to make sure everything is running)
  • Manage domains
  • Send e-blasts
  • Assist with new business efforts
  • Track metrics on website/social media
  • Troubleshoot IT issues

Future Growth: 
The growth path for this job depends on the individual filling the role. You could grow into handling client work directly, without a Managing Director, learn strategic or digital sides of the business, or be involved in a bigger, deeper way with new business.

Freelance Graphic Designer

Background
  • 1-2 years of work experience (or 2-3 internship stints at marketing agency in design/layout capacity)
  • College degree in Graphic Design, Art Direction, or similar
  • Solid grasp of main graphic-oriented computer programs (Adobe CS), with emphasis on Photoshop
  • Comprehensive of Mac platform, font management important
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (esp. PowerPoint)
  • Web knowledge a plus
Graphic Design Projects
  • Flexible design skills important – creative output varies greatly
  • Have hands-on involvement in creative from ads, to digital and a number of concept presentations involving stock art/photo manipulation
  • Create print-ready PDFs for publication or production
  • Create identity/logo/marque work, and resulting collateral (business cards, letterhead, PowerPoint template, etc.)
  • Design basic web pages if relevant (though no serious web skills required)
  • Get involved in concepting for television, print advertising, and sales promotions

Account Services Intern

You’ll have a chance to:
  • Assist our Account Service team with day to day project management tasks
  • Conduct research to help expand our new business efforts
  • Observe/participate in marketing meetings and presentations
  • Get involved in a breadth of tactical work, including digital efforts
  • Hourly commitment each week is 14-hour minimum, and we can work around class schedules if need be
  • Internships are unpaid but a transportation stipend is available

Design Intern

You’ll have a chance to:
  • Assist our Design team with day to day design tasks
  • Conduct research to help expand our new business efforts
